Know realities and subtleties of the profession
Take the necessary precautions to protect yourself from abusive behavior. Don't be afraid to ask questions to your potential clients. There are some bad people out there, and very often simple questions can filter them out. If you don't have a good feeling, just say no. However, it's important to find the right balance and not be too intrusive in your questions.
If any service makes you uncomfortable, you're better off not offering it. Forcing yourself to do something you don't like is not a sustainable strategy.
Establish Your Rates
You can charge 10 times the average rate in your industry and see 1 client per month, or charge 10 times less than the average rate and see 10 clients per day. The important thing is to choose a rate that you are comfortable with and not let clients negotiate your rates down.
Ideally, you should ask for the money at the very beginning of the meeting. There is no good reason to wait until the end of the appointment. Cash, Interac e-Transfer and cryptocurrency are all secure and irreversible payment methods.
The advantage of asking for a pre-appointment deposit is that the client is much more likely to show up. If they don't show up, at least you will be compensated for the time you lost. However, asking for a deposit has a major disadvantage. You may be perceived as a scammer. Consequently, fewer clients will be interested in your services. In a context where you do go to the client (outcall), an alternative to the deposit is to ask the client to reserve a cab in advance that will bring you to his location. In a situation where you receive (incall), if the appointment is scheduled a day or more in advance, sending a message on the morning of the appointment and asking "are you really coming to see me today?" is a good way to identify a lazy client who will tend to ignore this message.
As an escort, you will be dealing with unserious clients who claim to have an interest in an appointment but in reality have no intention of showing up. They are reluctant to discuss the details of the date and will often look for you to entertain them for free over the phone, exchanging messages and pictures.
If a client contacts you and gets straight to the point by mentioning where and when they would like to meet you, without getting into irrelevant discussions by asking for pictures and explicit details about you and your services, they are most likely serious in their intentions.
